Don't miss that very special episode in which the six band
members share about the uplifting nature of letting go.
"We might have been touring the world for what seems
forever now, but we're always deeply empowered every single
time we embrace the spirit by which Alex shares his heart
and soul while we perform every night. What we experienced
during the Shanghai concert has been so purely unique
and so deeply redefining for us that we recall that moment
as a true epiphany... because we did learn to fly that day"
says Jeff.
To let go with such a passionate degree of abandonment
as the members of Your Favorite Enemies perform every
single night requires not only to give yourself away
without any holding back, but necessitates a true
embodiment of the vivid commitment you have towards
the sacred dimension of the communion you share
with your people
Hear the members of the band share about the real nature
of letting go, as they recall Alex's health condition
(Fractured Jaw, Broken Ribs, Chipped Teeth, Sinus Infection
and Inflamed Vocal Chords) and the extreme way
by which he communed with the crowd... As Jeff says:
"body surfing and broken ribs, wow! that's true love!
The band members talk about one of the most intense
moments of their career and recall the uplifting nature
of what is now considered as one of the most epic
moment of recent Chinese rock history and what led to
the craziest crowd surfing ever captured on camera!
This single moment in itself is worth watching and
sharing "The Uplifting Sound Of An Epiphanic
Awakening..." DVD project.
"As much as we would have loved to see The Stooges in
'67 during their first gig, The Clash performing in Sheffield
on July 4th 1976 and the Pistols a couple of days later in
Manchester, we'll never forget the shivering emotions we
felt as we were side stage, waiting to play at the iconic Midi
Festival, to be a little part of the history of what started as a
single dream, a little idea...
But that day, it was not about rock music. It was about the
future of an arising China, filled with heartfelt hope and
soulful colors! Quite inspiring and fabulous!" says Jeff
Beaulieu regarding their epic performance at the Midi
Festival.
Your Favorite Enemies band members are sharing some
insights regarding the way they prepared themselves before
embarking on the extended China Tour "The Rising Youth Of
The Dragon's Land".
Find out if there's any difference between playing in front of an
ocean composed of more than fifty thousand people during
major festivals and hitting the floor of modest venues to perform
in front of a couple hundreds people...
How can a single touch reach out to the multitudes?
Is their any difference between surfing the ocean and being
part of a stream? Is there any preparation for chaos?
"This moment, that vibrant essence of the moment that led to the creation of this whole DVD project, has been such a
meaningful materialization of the dream we all personally and collectively envisioned that it was imperative for us to share it
with the people we love, to testify the true essential nature of what we have lived in Shanghai and to give an eternal dimension
of what has been defining enough for us to say we'll never be the same" says Jeff regarding the special character of
every single "Hear It From The Band Members" video.
"Hear It From The Band Members" is a 8 week interview series from which the six members of Your Favorite Enemies are
sharing their deepest thoughts, personal and collective insights about "The Uplifting Sound Of An Epiphanic Awakening..."
DVD project. Intimate, poignant, funny, vibrant, real and inspiring.
Every single video of the series is a definite YFE "must sink in" experience... don't miss it!
